Weekly Photo Challenge: Together – USA

I don’t think I appreciated what “togetherness” really meant until now as I watch my twins growing up. Although they each have their own personalities and preferences, they are connected in a way that is difficult to define. They’ve existed together ever since each were only two cells adjoined in the same womb. Imagine what kind of molecular memory that has created between them. I bet they will always have an innate sense that the other is with them even when they are apart. Even now that they are 2.5-years old and asserting their independence, they are uncomfortable when the other is not around. Even after fighting they want the other nearby. It is a togetherness truly unmatched in anything that I have seen before. How lucky am I to witness such a special relationship grow.
