Things are quiet around here. We’ve turned off the news. We’ve not engaged in any political discussions. We’ve cried. We hug tightly. We’re looking to the horizon to guide us along a steady path into a more peaceful and joyful future.
I took this photo in Lesotho ten years ago and it has always given me a sense of calm, hope and beauty every time I look at it. In spite of all that is tragic, such is my solace that there is so much good in the world, as far as the eyes can see.
