An unfocused image focused on love.
Sometimes I’m disappointed when pictures don’t come out focused and a lot of my photos of the kids aren’t because they move so fast. Yet I still keep them around because the pictures still convey the emotion for me, especially in this one where my son and I are rolling around on the floor laughing. It’s a self-portrait taken in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. There wasn’t always a lot for us to do at home so I would sometimes play around and take lots of pictures of us together. The picture below is a more focused one with my daughter. I love them both. I love the memories, focused or not.

Hya Wanderlustress – seeing as there hasn’t been an official weekly photo challenge this week, I’m stepping up and throwing down a challenge for anyone who’s interested. http://wheresmybackpack.wordpress.com/2012/05/12/reflections/
I’d love you to join in – the more the merrier. Pass it on. xxx Ailsa
What a great idea! Thanks for inviting me. I’m just sorry I couldn’t participate. The kids kept me super busy this past weekend.
Awwwww, SUPER like. No, love.
I love the top one!! So cute and it made me giggle. FYI a lot of my photos come out unfocused if I give a camera to someone else too (so sad but like you said they still give you a memory and they’re worth keeping sometimes).
Cute!
Wonderful capture! Love it!
Wonderful emotion in these out-of-focus shots
Thanks Robin. I can still hear them giggling in these shots.
