It’s definitely summer when you can blow up a kiddie pool and entertain the kids for an entire afternoon. They are just so happy being in a different play environment, getting relief from the heat, and making as much of a mess as they want. Living in Mexico I worried about the kids swallowing garden spout water and getting sick but they never did (and they drank a lot of it!). Maybe the city does a good job of chlorinating the public water system. I wonder if we should be concerned in Laos…one more thing to add to the list of things to find out I guess. Maybe bring chlorine tablets for the kiddie pool?

Cute photo!
Such a pleasant way to spend an afternoon – children are happy, adult has to sit with them and is unable to do chores.
Exactly, win-win! Luckily we’re going to year-round tropical heat. Let’s see how we entertain ourselves during torrential monsoon downpours.
que lindos!!! 🙂
Muchas gracias Maldita! Que tenga un buen fin de semana!
That says summer alright 😉
Very cute!
Look up salt for the pool.
Great idea! And the taste would keep them from drinking it, too (you would think!). Have a great weekend!
